It Getting Better!!

Yesterday and today have been much better. Yesterday we were suppose to have dinner at my professors house at 5:30 to discuss how our first week had gone, but for some odd reason the bus that we are suppose to take into the city did not stop for us. So, we took a different bus assuming that it to would go to the station at some point, but we were wrong. Instead, it took us 20 min. outside the city and then we had to wait 30 min. before it would start its route again. The bus driver was kind enough to tell us when we were closest to the city, so that we could walk through the city walls. We left our house at 4:15 yesterday afternoon and by the time we arrived at my professors house it was 7:30. Normally, it would have only taken us 30 min.

Today classes started! Mon through Friday I have an Italian class for 3 hours starting at 9 a.m. Followed by a 2 or three hour break depending on the day and then I have a different afternoon class for about an hour and a half. We started studying the architecture of Siena today. As a class we are mostly going to focus on Gothic and Renaissance styles.

There are talks of possibly going to Venice this weekend. One things for sure, since we are traveling as a class to Florence four weekends, I am planning on traveling somewhere new everyweekend. Which should make for some exciting new entries and pictures!
