Hellooooo. From the jungle we got on a bus at 6 am and went back to Puerto Jiminez to wait for the water taxi for 5 hours and then from Golfito on a bus 3 seperate times until we finally arrived in Uvita in the dark. We got a room at a cool little hostel and met our roomate from North Carolina who later travelled further with us. Uvita was a town with spread apart different sections and you had to pay $6 to enter the beach so the next morning we jumped on the bus and went a bit further to Dominical with April. The 3 of us found the only room we could at a very nice new hotel and spent the day touring Domincal which was a nice surfer town. We also had AMAZING italian cuisine at the new restaurant in our hotel, that actually had service! The next day we kept moving and landed in Quepos/Manuel Antonio. I say both because we never could tell the difference or the line between the two towns, it was like Seattle Tacoma and all seemed like one big place but I guess there are two named towns. We loved it here and stayed at a great cheap hostel called Wide Mouth Frog with a pool, internet, free breakfast and coffee, DVD, games room, everything! We spent 4 days relaxing on the best beaches we have found yet! They were all absolutely beautiful, but we suffered the consequences and are both blistered and peeling now... We shopped and cooked for ourselves at the communal kitchen and mostly just liked staying still and sort of unpacking in one place. But the show must go on, so we again got on the bus and headed north.
