So, we wake up without an alarm today, just letting the body decide when to go. 6am was still to early, so we waited until the sun rose and then got about our day. We got on the subway, which was very user friendly, and made our way to Ngong Ping, which is home to the very giant Budda statue. It was another hot 20C sunny day, so our cheeks got a little rosy. We did a little hike around the budda and then some of the surrounding area. There is a nice 30 min cable car ride that takes you to and from. I managed to leave a little dna on one of the trails. Penny is having trouble navigating the steps around here with her giant feet, but myself and the locals enjoy the shorter distance. We then headed back on the train to Kowloon when we discovered a slight diversion that would take us to Hong Kong Disneyland....and so our afternoon was finished. We walked around the park, got some pictures taken with some familiar personalities and finished the day with a fireworks display above that very famous castle. Penny's highlight of the year is now a 30 second tete a tete with Mickey Mouse. Hong Kong is a fabulous city and we have found about 4 or 5 more days worth of stuff to do. As it stands, we have a date with Cathay Pacific tomorrow night so we will have to entertain ourselves with the thought we may just wander back here one day.
