So, got into Rome today. Had a little scare with our flights this morning. I got a frantic call from one of the other girls telling me that our flight had been delayed and that we wouldn't make our connecting flight if we didn't get it switched. Definatley had a heart attack but it all worked out ok and ryan and I got bumped up to business class. It was pretty swanky, just a lot more room and a free meal and alcohol which I thought was probabley a good idea to avoid. We got to toronto, I has a croissant and bought a bottle of water and then we flew to Rome. Customs was pretty relaxed, he didn't even say hi, just stamped my passport and away I went. We were going to try and navigate the train system but some shuttle driver said he could take us all directley there for 15Euro each. By the way, the drive absolutley insane here!! The taxi didn't even slow down for some guy walking across the stress in a leg cast! We even saw an accident while we were walking about and cross walks aren't really cross walks, especially in the busy
areas, its like trying to get across calgary trail but no one cares haha!! The place we're staying is really nice and its a short walk away from the collisium so we went to check that out. Other than that all is well and good, we're trying to stay awake we can synch up with the italian night and day. Oh I had some pizza, and it was not pizza hut but it was really good. I'm feeling kind of awkward not knowing how to speak Italian while trying not to be rude. Hehe check me out I'm all Italian ------->ciao!
