Hiya folks. Things down in New Zealand are going well. Sometimes I find myself a bit bored since I have no one to talk to, but I am finding ways to amuse myself. Yesterday I had my orientation with IEP/BUNAC and learned all about New Zealand and how to find a job, etc. Today I went on a free tour of Auckland with Kiwi Experience and it was really good. We were taken to some places where a lot of tours don't visit and I saw some spectacular views. Tomorrow I am leaving Auckland on a Kiwi Experience tour where I am hoping to see some interesting places. On this tour I am going to decide where I want to live and find a job, I am thinking somewhere on the South Island. I don't know when I will be able to write again because the tour lasts for several days, but I will try to write again soon and add some pictures to my entrys. I only have a little bit of time left at an internet cafe, so I will probably add more to this journal later as well. Bye for now!!!

Hiya from Oregon
Hey Lisa, Great to hear from you. It is Thurday a.m. here and I'm sitting at work looking out at a dark grey sky. Fall has come quickly, or should I say winter, this year. The boys have 2 days off from school so they will be catching up on their rest. Have a great tour. Love, Annie

uhhhh
Dude, I think this is where I respond to your 'journal'. I have never seen this site before...pretty cool though. I have a good friend that lives on the southern end of the south island. Let me know if that is where you are going to be I'll give her a shout. Although the last I heard she was in Ireland, but we can give it a go. Hope you have a stellar Kiwi experience. Keep me informed...I'll do anything to procrastinate these days. =) Miss you already, Hutto

Having a blast?
Hey Lisa, I am so glad that you are having a good time. I can't wait to find out where you are going to be living. Do you find it slightly odd not living together this term? I knew it was going to be this way, but it is just weird without you and Sarah around. I hope you keep up with the journal because it is fun to read. Cheers! Sam
