Just a quick note to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's from Africa!
Thinks are going amazingly well here - still hot as ever - but its great!
I'm spending Christmas on camp with various invites all over camp so it should be a good day - definitely no white Christmas or anything like Christmas at home but I'm sure it will be a great day all the same! Of course, I'd still welcome calls or text messages - thanks to everyone who has been callin and texting! I love it!
The day after Christmas - Boxing Day - is HUGE - everyone from camp - all 40,000+ refugees head to the beach near Accra - so guess where I'll be!!! I'm stoked as its supposed to be a huge event!
Not sure yet what I'll be doing for New Year's! I think I might head back to Ada Foah for some sun and fun on the beach before hoppin in a boat (lil fishing boat) to the border with Togo for a few days- since I need to get my visa renewed and want to experience the birthplace of Voodoo! Back to work on January 7th!
