Buenos tardes everyone. First things first. We are having difficulty loading pictures again, so will keep working on it. Everything is in Spanish and no one in this internet cafe speaks English.

We arrived in Santiago mid afternoon last Saturday. What a great city, except for the smog. The weather has been fantastic...a steady 32 celcius. This city really hustles. Population is about 6 to 7 million. We did a tour to Vina Del Mar on the Pacific coast the following day. Through wine country...very beautiful. Yes, we´ve enjoyed the Chilean wine. Vina Del Mar is very picturesque. Brightly coloured houses dot the seaside like an old italian village.

Our best day yet was Sunday, when we were picked up by a private guide, Christian. A pretty cool dude who drove like Mario Andretti through the bustling streets. Dani loved his driving! We had a fabulous day shopping and seeing the sites. We´re all turning a little pink!

We´ve done a winery tour at Concho El Toro. A beautiful winery...lots of tasting and picture taking.

We have found the food to be very good. Seafood is in abundance...mmmm. Our time here has been to short already. We

Winery Tour
Hi Guys. It is fantastic being able to take your trip remotely. This is awesome...I am jealous that you had a winery tour at Concho El Toro. That has inspired me to go out and buy some. In fact, I just mentioned it to him on the weekend that we hadn't had the Concho wine lately. ps. our party was great. You were missed by all, but obviously doing bigger and better things. Merry Christimas to you all!

Wine Wine & More Wine
Hi Andrea. Thanks for posting a message on our blog. We are having a great time. There is so much wine here, its incredible. We buy a bottle of red each time for dinner and the cost is approximately $15 to $20. Not to bad for a restaurant compared to home. We took a hike on a famous glacier yesterday called Perito Morena. It doesn´t look real and the colour is baby blue. We will post the pictures soon. We took a ton of them. Got to go now. We catch another plane this afternoon. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas today. Love to all Dar,Gary,Dani
