Departure

As I sit at my computer preparing to depart for the airport I can't help but think about all the places I will be seeing in the next 10 days. My list grows monthly with places I would like to travel and things I would like to see, and I am so excited to accomplish some of my dreams this Christmas break. I am mainly in disbelief right now that I am traveling all the way to Israel to places I have only read about in the Bible and to Egypt to see monumental structures that modern day architects marvel at. I will try to put in a couple cliche "Oos and Ahs" as I see those amazing things. My mentor Mark Wojciechowski was talking to me last night saying how he's heard that people come back changed after visiting the country of the Bible. I can only hope that I continue to grow into a man after God's own heart as I see the places and tread paths that Christ walked. I know that we will be quite overwhelmed by the wonders of this small country that has caused so much controversy in this world. May God bless you this Christmas season.
