the sheep shearing station
typical sheep station in the outback of WA...in the middle of nowhere!! no noises at night at all...really relaxing Hellou mi gente!!!
The three days driving from Broome to Perth were absolutly exhausting. we drove between 10 to 15 hours every day (no faster that 100km/h) in the most staight roads u can imagine. The first day there were only three of us, Lynn Tony the drier and me. Yeah, i know start realising how crazy u can get when u are bored!! haha looking back i had fun, but in that moment i wish i had paid those 400 bugs for a flight!!! we slept in Karajini NP (again) bc we had to pick up some people there. That was very nice because we could climb down a gorge the next morning and have a nice swimm before we started driving down south again. The landscape was almost all the time the same: bush and plain...
We passed the second night in a cuttle station, by far the greatest i've been so far. The building was mantained as it looked like 100 years ago!! really cool!! old fashioned decoration, lots of small details that made that primitive building look very confi!! the great thing was that at 22h the electricity was truned down. and we had the
Nallan Station!!
where is the beer???? most spectacular star scenery u can ever imagine. Again i noticed that without glasses i saw half of them, but even this way it was stunning. u could see stars down until the horyson. amazing!!! drinking wine (gooms!!hahaha quality! -the worst of the worst) watching the sky was very nice. and then we saw lots of shooting stars!! i cant even remember when i saw the last one before this!!! so nice!!!!
nothing really important happened during those long hours of driving...the road trains became one of our main entretainment-activity: counting how many of them 'answered' our greetings!! interesting isnt it? getting into Perth was like an adventure...it was the first time for tony (our driver) to get there, so we kind of had to direct him to all our hostels...it seemed like an adventure to drive inbetween cars, traffic lights, signs...back to civilasation!!
