Surprise Party at Alexandra Heads

I should have had exciting details from a hot air balloon ride... ....
lots of photos of beautiful Brisbane, and lots of hot self portraits of *yours truly* from 1000 ft up!!

but alas.....

NO BALLOON FOR YOU!!

Coming from a town with a ongoing drought, severe water restrictions and 4 min showers.... It has been raining for the last two weeks on and off.... and surprise surprise it stormed on Friday night/Sat morning hence me getting a phone call at 3:30am.... NO Balloon ride tomorrow 😞

So..... the rest of the day was spent at the Sunshine Coast and this is all your getting....

A surprise party for my brother. He didnt even guess... his wife was so stealth!!

We sat on the headland watching the rain come in. We went rockpooling. The girls found crabs, sea urchins, sea cucumber things and lots of other beach creatures. We got wet, ate, played, smashed a pinata all the fun things you do when you are at the beach in the rain... cause we all know you cant go swimming in

I spent my time taking self portraits while the girls rockpooled... I wasn't touching anything... EWWW!
the rain... You might get wet ! tee hee!

So the day was a sucess, even if I didn't get to ride a hot air balloon

Next blog ...... definately will be posted from 1000 ft up!! I promise.....
