So, we have finally gotten around to creating a travelblog to enable our avid fan base to follow our travels through the USA and across to the UK. We've been in the USA for 10 days now and time has truly flown by.
Our last week in NZ passed very quickly, having left Wellington on September 29th and driven up to Hamilton with our flat packed into a transit van.

Before we get too far into the travel diary it is important that we mention a few significant points. There is no doubt in our minds that we would be making this trip without the support of our families and friends. A huge thank you must be said to Marcia, Seb and Caroline for having us to stay at Dorking St while Percival St was in packing chaos and we would not have been able to leave Wellington as early as we did without the cleaning expertise of Marcia and Caroline and Seb’s assistance with disposal of unwanted flat goods. Thanks must also go to John and Jane for having us to stay in Hamilton and helping to alleviate the stress levels of our last week in the country. Thanks also to Graham, Laura and Mark for coming over to Hamilton to wish us farewell and to Richard, Mike and Beryl for coming up to see us before we left. And Papi, it was wonderful to see you before we left and we’re sorry that it was for only a short period of time.

We really appreciate the wisdom and experiences about London shared by Laura and Mark, and everyone who has offered words of advice and encouragement regarding travelling, you have all been truly inspirational. Jess and Paul deserve a special mention at this point as they have provided us with a wealth of knowledge about making the move to London and also the security of having somewhere to stay once we reach the big smoke. We really appreciate their help and look forward to seeing them to thank them in person.

And lastly, but most importantly, thank you to everyone who has offered us financial support for our trip - you all know who you are and we are extremely grateful at not having to camp in the Mojave desert! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Hooray! It was worth waiting to see little kiwis in such a huge landscape. Dad loved the map too. Can't wait for the next instalment.........
