Europe Trip

A little mud-map of where I drove in Agnes around Europe...

With the little busking "Guitar!", "Banjo!", "Violin!", "MANdolin!"..... It's a UKULELE YOU FOOLS!"
Well busking seems to be not-so-bad after all! I must say that the Oxford crowd are much more enthusiastic than the one in the London tube- especially seeing as they are all drunk and happy! 😊 (It was the weekend). I busked for 2 nights in total and a little during the day and made a grand total of £100, which paid for all my accommodation, food and I still have £20 more in my wallet than when I came here!

I managed to sneak back into the youth-hostel during the wee-earlies and sleep on the floor the night I was 'living' on the mound (hey, I was alive and I was on the mound! That constitutes "living"! :P) They didn't seem to have a problem with it- which was good, seeing as it was either that or the homeless shelter! :S (Or the Oxford Hilton for £100 a night?? I don't think so!!)

Heading to the Cotswolds today to meet Alaya's auntie and Alaya will be arriving tomorrow (with Ash, I assume? Although 'm never sure what that old boy is doing! 😊 I've just had a response from a HelpExchange (cheers dad) in Oxfordshire, so I might

When busking in Oxford gangs of drunken students surround you and start singing along at the top of their lungs and throwing £5 notes in your case...
give that a go for a few days/weeks/whatever before headng to Edinburgh. I WILL get to Edinburgh! If it's the last thing I do!

What can I say? I love busking! (Although my finger hurts from RSI 😞 and Lila had tuning issues for a while until I found a nice gentleman with a screwdriver)
