Ron and I have retired from teaching and we just can't stop giggling. It is a wonderful feeling and we are making some major changes. We have sold our condo in Florida and will be leaving the area very soon. While traveling we are using the following address:
6421 Tarawa Dr.
Sarasota, FL 34241
Please limit mail to this address since it is a friend's. Our email addresses will stay active , so please use those instead.
Our "Excellent Adventure" will begin on Oct. 1, 2005. Ron and I are starting a 9 month trip to a variety of destinations. We will begin with a drive to Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. This will occupy most of Oct. On Oct. 20 we fly to Los Angeles for a few days.
Oct. 24 we will fly to Tahiti and then continue on to Easter Island. After 4 days in Easter Island we will return to Tahiti and spend some time there. Next we head for the Cook Islands. This is one of our favorite island groups and we will be there for several weeks.
Toward the beginning of Dec. we will arrive in New Zealand's south island. We will be there for 3 weeks before flying to Australia on Dec. 20. Christmas will be celebrated in Sydney, on the beach! (Please send email cards only!!)
While in Sydney, we hope to arrange a trip to South Africa and Botswana for a few weeks in January. When we return to Australia, we will start our journey to the northwest coast of Australia. By the time we reach Broome, we hope that the wet will be over and the roads will be passable. We will stay in Broome until the end of May. Our return to the States will be on May 31, 2006.
After that - who knows where we will go! It's all part of the "Excellent Adventure"!!!!!
Please stay in touch and check our web blog for updates that will be posted periodically. We are very excited and getting eager to hit the road.
Ciao, Pam & Ron
