Monday 13th August Staying at Matts, we pottered round the house, drank copious amounts of tea (and beer), frisbeed and computered. Twas good to spend some quality time with the champ. An afternoon jaunt to Wundowie got us out of the house for a while.
Tuesday 14th August Amongst other things, a trip into Northam was entertained to examine some of the fine Baroque influences pertaining to the pie shop and to witness the post Renaissance glory embodied in the newsagency. See, there is culture to be found in Oz!
Wednesday 15th August Today I headed back to Perth as Matt and Rochelle were heading to Melbourne for a few days to catch up with Clint and Simone and grab a game of footy at the MCG. Lucky buggers! I got to catch up with Aunty Goog and Uncle Errol before I left though which was great. The rest of the day was spent with no.1 sister Kylee and watching Harry Potter at the
cinema with no.1 nephew Thomas.
Thursday 16th August Happy Birthday Mum!
Another lazy, relaxing day aerobee-ing with Thommo and Benri down the park. We were getting about 70m throws out of scientifically designed ring, they really to s**t all over the old classic frisbees. Do yourself a favour and go out and get one for Christmas. Yagermeister was purchased and some bombs were had by the brothers Wills.
Saturday 18th August This morning I toured down to foreshore with Kylee and the kids and wore them all out with some more Aerobee.
Sunday 19th August Today I headed up to a Kalamunda Pub "The Last Drop" for a few overdue pints with mates Jonesy, Krizza, Davo and Kirkham. Was good to catch up with the old gang again, 6 months is too long! Krizza had all the cluckers at his house where Tash (born to be a host!) was running a Tupperware party. After a belly full I caught a lift back with Dave in his rather pokey Golf GTI.
