The next morning we tossed up going to the Sziget Festival again, but making a short trip to Bratislava won out.
Bratislava was a huge suprise to both of us. After getting lost on the way from the hostel to the Historic Centre, we were a little dejected until we accidently stumbled into one of the most beautiful old city´s we have ever been to. I was so impressed that I nicknamed it "fairy land" immediately. We made the trek to the top of the hill to see Bratislava Castle, which had a great view of the old town and to the other side of the river where the huge communist remanents of apartment buildings provided a stark contrast to the beauty of the old city.
We discovered that nightime was when the beautiful people came out in Bratislava and spent to night sipping on red wine and watching the beautiful people walk by.

I´m from Slovakia and it sounds great when somebody admire my country. Many people think that we are small, dirty and communistic country but it´s not true. Yes in former times it was but not now. I´m from Tren in it´s a small town 100km away from Bratislava. I´m studing at hotel academy and this school is very modern e. g. we have notebooks with internet in every class. I don´t like people who knows nothing about our country but they are sure that we all are racists, Nazis and another craps.I´m proud of where I come from. It´s true that I don´t want to stay there but it´s just because I want to try something new not because I don´t like it here. I have to go now ´cause my dog want to go out for a walk :))))))))) bye
