Uncle John cookin up a storm on friday night.
I know I know it’s been ages since my last web page. Sorry to those of you who can’t live with out it (A.K.A Mum and Dad). Hope you enjoy this one.

It’s been a hectic couple of weeks with heaps of family and friends in town (hence the title) The Crothall (mum’s side of the family) clan all started arriving about two weeks ago in preparation for my cousin Sarah’s wedding. This was held on Sunday the 3rd of September. Right in the middle of all this my great friend and traveling buddy Kate Lacey comes into town as well.

There is lots to tell but I’m going to focus on the long weekend just been. It started on Friday with a fantastic family BBQ round at Adam’s place. John my uncle cooked lamb chops and two different types of smoked sausages these where accompanied by some amazing salad with home made dressing…..mmmmmmm. Oh by the way John is a trained chief so the meal was fantastic. I think there were a total of eleven of us for dinner that night. The Crothall clan is a big one. And I had a wonderful time catching up with my cousins that I meet for the first time two years ago in Queenstown. We ate (well I did anyway) sooooo much. I didn’t eat until about 12.30 the next day.

Saturday started early considering the amount of food and drink that was consumed the night before. I meet up with Lace and Nat and we missioner into town to pick up our little rental car and headed to Muskoka. Muskoka is about a two and a half hour journey north of Toronto and with Nat and me in the car poor wee Kate had a bit of burping and funny smells to deal with (I think we keep driving over dead animals on the highway). We mad it to Muskoka in great time and had a wonderful reunion with two Banff buddies, Dru and the effervescent Kandy with a K Karlson.

Muskoka is beautiful and the resort that Kandy and Dru work at is pretty wicked. We checked into our room then quickly signed up for Squash at 2 then Tennis at 4 and made our way down to the lake front…….needless to say squash got canceled then tennis got canceled as we lazed on the deck chairs,

listened to the Caribbean drum band and swam when we got hot. What a great way to spend the afternoon. We finally dragged ourselves away from the lake side for a night of dinner and dancing. I had a great time girls it was fantastic to hag out again😊

Sunday saw me on the bus at 1.40pm for the trip back to Toronto for Sarah and Tim’s wedding reception. It was held at a harbor front Chinese restaurant and consisted of a ten course Chinese banquet. Finger licking good, the courses where small and delicious. It was a great night and I’ll let the pictures tell the story.

This weekend has been just a fun on Friday night Adam, Mark and I went to the Blue Man Group show. Saturday we played paintball, and went out on the town and today we went up the CN tower.

Fun times😊
