Yeah so I made it here...bit of a strange place. First the airport Immigration officer spent 25 mins with me, 23 of which he told me what I should do in the 23 hours I had in Toronto. He recommended hotels, casinos, Niagara falls, places to eat, even hinted at a strip bar before stamping my passport and telling me to fuck off. We also had an argument about how Argentina was on the west/east coast of South America. I was right so he got pissed off..

I then decided the airport was too crappy to sleep in, absolutely nothing in it, so got a bus, which suddenly stopped and dumped us on a train to the city centre. City centre = high rise buildings + noshopsfoodplacesoranyothersignsofcivilisation. After walking around for a bit, and chatting with taxi drivers who didnt seem to know anything, I overheard a girl asking for directions to a hostel. I then followed her (at a discreet distance so as to not creep her out) and found one...which was full...so got directions to another...and so on and so forth until I landed up at this computer.

I'm bloody tired, its like 4AM in London, so gonna figure out whether I can managed Niagara falls tomorrow, and then head off to bed.

Haha Sid this is hilarious...yeah why is it Canadians are always over-friendly? Well actually I can think of one who isn't....you might know who I mean. :-P Also quite funny, the old Ed Board minutes I found in my inbox: "Windows are opened, because of the rise in temperature in the room - is this a natural occurrence or due to the anger of our Executive Editor?"
