My most favourite man-made place on earth...I love this festival, I honestly do...but this year was just a tad too wet and muddy for even my good-natured spirit!!

It is incredible though - I thought the last two years I went were big but somehow this year they managed to open the gate for an extra 40,000 people - grand total ticket sales? 177,500...as Bimbi kept pointing out, that is more than twice the size of Toowoomba!

Music highlights weren't big this year...my favs were a rockin' Cat Empire set and Stanton Warriors (the sun actually appeared for that set - see pic of us three girls for proof)....really, there wasn't anyone else that floated my boat - Chemical Brothers would have been good except it was the end of a very long fifth day and it rained the entire set...hmmm, good nature had certainly dwindled by that time.

But you know what, when you speak to anyone (Bimbi, Phil, Maz, Belinda's flatmates) who's first time it was to the festival, they were all filled with awe about the size of the place, enthusiasm to endure the mud (what mud!? you could hear them say) and just generally being as downright impressed with the place as I was the first time...so really, dont listen to my whining...this place rocks...its just that it rocked my world a little better in 2004 and 2005!!!
