Katherine here--Another exciting day in the city, but like all the others we got in late and have to leave early in the morning. But we didn't want to leave you guys with nothing so here's a photo for you all to see and we'll post what we did as soon as we can. Hope you all had a great 4th!

Inspired by our friend Tina (aka, ), we decided to create this travel blog to post photos / adventures from our upcoming trip to NY / DC. This will be our first cross country family trip. Should have some fun stories to report. Hard to believe, but Katherine graduated from high school this past May. We figured we should get a nice family trip in before she heads to UC Santa Cruz in the fall. We'll be spending 11 days with my oldest brother (Phil) and his wife (Mary) in Stamford, CT.
