Out with a Brazil!

So our journey has come to an end after an action packed 6 months. Our last couple of days as worldwide travellers was of course spent, sunbathing, shopping and partying!!! We spent one last day frying on Copacabana beach, one last night spending at the night market and one last drink at the Lapa street party - and this time we saw the famous Lapa steps and arches that featured in Snoop Dogs video, only they are a lot dodgier in real life than in the video!!
Our last sunbathing session, we witnessed a major hollywood film being filmed - if you look very closely you might catch us in the background - we definately outshine the leading lady, though we have been sworn to secrecy!! Our last meal we were at another all you can eat buffet, though this time we were offered chickens heart as a dish - we both declined the offer, though i did try the chocolate pizza which was very nice!!!

With one last plane journey left, we say goodbye to our backpacking adventures - though i think we're happy to say goodbye to the dreaded back pack - and prepare ourselves for the real world! No more time off for us jetting around the world, rather back to reality and floods apparently!!

We've had an amazing 6 months, plenty of highs with just a few lows. Lots of stories to tell, plenty of slideshows to bore you all with but more importantly many memories that we can carry with us forever.

The Farewell
Yes you have had a wonderful six months of seeing great places and doing amazing things, and we in turn have lived your travels via your blog and have been thoroughly entertained. We have been amused at some of the hilarious things you have done and how The Wise One frowned at the thought of all that drink inside you!!! Thank you Beth for all the wonderful postcards and for taking the time to send them to us and wish you a safe journey home. Much love J
