Hello, all.

Been a fantastic few weeks since the last blog. Had my first trip into the City a couple of Saturdays ago, a drive over the Harbour Bridge, and it's impossible to say just how stunning that was. The weather was kind to us, so there was nothing but blue skies for miles making Sydney look exactly how you dream it would. Caught a brief glimpse of the Opera House and a very tantalising view of yachts sailing in the harbour, but we'll have to go back to that end of town and do it properly in a few weeks.

Had to pick some things up from Ange's office, so got to have a quick look around Hyde Park too. Very frustration having to leave nearly as soon as we got there, but we're going to book a hotel one weekend so we have more time to look around. Afraid the photos I took must be just about the worst set I've ever taken and the Harbour Bridge is all on my camcorder, but we're going into Sydney again on Saturday, so keep your fingers crossed that I don't make such of a mess of it this time.

Meeting up with the son of a friend who's promised to take us up in his plane! Jammy or what! Going for a drink with him first, so hopefully that won't put him off.

Got a lot of tunnels, Sydney. Bit of a surprise that. Not quite sure why I'm telling you that, but there it is.

Had a little out to Macarthur park in Camden on Sunday. Had the place to ourselves I guess because the locals considered it cold. Put a couple of pictures up of it - a very nice day.

Watched the last State of Origin last night and thankfully New South Wales won to avoid the white wash. The bloke next door was watching it too - sounded like me when City score. Think he's a Rabbits fan, because he was at it again last week when they beat Manly.

Ange has domesticated me to the level that I'm now a treasure in the kitchen. My slow cooker meals are the stuff of legend. And I'm still waiting for my first food poisoning victim.

Hope you're all well,

a very happy Stuart

Some strange creature in a park. Ange is threatening to cut my hair, so things might just get worse before they get better.

They're so tasty I can't tell you. Still got a tree full and it's supposed to be winter.
