I could share so many pictures from the metro system and if you ever come to visit, you should definitely take some time to see some of these more than just going through them to your destination.

I have been collecting these for some time and I am sure I will get a few more as I travel on the metro, but I thought I would share them with you. If you ever come to visit, I would highly recommend taking the time to visit some of these stations just to see them. I am told you are not suppose to take pictures since these are part of their defense (military) system, but no one said anything to me. Although I like my camera and it does a good job, some of these pictures do not do the station justice.

Obvious this is not a metro station, but there is one right here and it has three names because there are three lines that merge here, one is Pushkinskaya.

Metro stations
NOW I know why you think the metro is spectacular. I sure wish US metro could be so pristine...not pisstine.

More beautiful pictures! I'm sure it's a beautiful sight to see in person. What are the dates you are traveling home?
23rd June 2007

Dates
If everything does as planned, I head home on Friday, July 14. I will be staying with my parent until Tuesday when Dad and I then leave for Vegas for our annual Father/Son trip. It will be a short time there, but at least we kept the tradition. Dad, correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is our 14th year going to Vegas together. After that I head to Atlanta to get my annaul eye, teeth, health, taxes, etc. checked before heading back via Canada to see the newest Cirque production. It sounds busy, and it is, but you know me well enough to know, it is fairly normal. The day I actually go somplace boring and just lay and rest, you will know something is wrong...lol

Metro
Cool pics!! Some look familiar. Need to get a pic of the long escalators to show how far underground you are. Don't know the stop, but one has nearly 900 steps on it.

Park Pobedi?
I am not sure, but I think someone told me Park Pobedi is the deepest. I am not positive, but I will try to find out and head there for some pictures. I will be home in mid-July so I will stop in and say hello.

Prospect Mira

Beautiful City
I was in Russia (Prospect Mira) from 2000-2005 with my family and my two sons were studying at the British International School during this period. I like so much for your country. I have many Russian friends in Russia and I wish to visit Russia again. the Photo relating to Prospect Mira Metro Station is again remind me the period which I was there.
