June 11. Last walk then drive to Maleny. Longweekend crowd. On a dead tree by the Obi Obi river a black shouldered kite, off white. Oranges from my favorite tree in Maleny. Then the lookout from Caloundra past Mt Coolum to Noosa Head. Hell day, fair dinkum. A couple she's ozasian. They're Sydney. He's who can guess? They loved the 'Southern Cross and Boomerang'. He'd seen it in 'Manly Daily'.
June 12. Warm sunshine. My first whale sighting for the northerly migration.
June 13. Sailing Mooloolaba. Cool, fine. Island, Gneerings, finish abord 'State of the Ark'. All good.
June 14. Went to Nambour for show. Not good. Families young children. They liked, few takers but. In Bli Bli Maroochy river boardwalk Golden Whistler and juvenile. Black head, white beard, bright yellow nape, breast, abdomen. back olive, wings black. Forrest kingfisher - head, wings, tail rich blue. Roufous fantail within arms reach. Brahminy kite perched in tree at rivers edge. Mt Coolum. Lewins honeyeater, cream gape, crescent yellow ear tufts. McMartin's farm, gal in red reminded me of Ellie May of the Clampets. Finally warm sun surrounded by trees. Lush landscape. I got jam mango and fig. Butterflies white, coloured under tips. Barred chest, green cape cuckoo? Red rumped little mistletoebird female. One other not identified.
June 15. Maroochydore to Buderim to get my MRI. What hasn't been stated here before is my medical moment. A symptom. Then a teat. Suspense. A twitch or a tumour? The edge of life brought to the fore. The personality wobbles. The campaign stutters. A negative result. The stars resume their composure. Email from Kate in Hokaido. Noosa Long Weekend.
June 16. A day the campaign continued. Went to golf club gave sticker to Kerry O'Brian (7:30 report). He talking to Clive James (gave him sticker - no interest). Then to walk Gubi Gubi nusa spit. Finally found speaker after group misdirection. Bright sunshiny day. Then to main beach walk and talk with children. Chubby not onside, green eyes alive, boy onside. Oh to talk with young minds. Then Noni nineteen who kept repeating as I bbbabbled on, 'cool', 'its great', 'I love it'. And then Carlotte from Brissie. Had sticker, sold car needed new one. Five o'clock I'm going to 101.3 FM to be 'on air' with Fairy/joellan. Blonde hair ballistic. We're chatty. 'There's a fine line between leading and lost.' Beer time.
June 17. Sunshine morning. Stickers on cars. Met ozkiwi Tanya who'd worked on McMartin's farm!! Said they're like 'hillbillys', three generations there. One bloke didn't wear shoes (Jethro?). Then to Mooloolaba yacht club. Fine days race - Brisbane (mark), Gneerings, finish. Most enjoyable.
DOT INTERPRETATIONS; the dreaming track, song lines, footprints on our arid landscape, a Shane Warne googly, our unfinished journey to equality, sunburnt tourists, hot feet on Cott beach, Wagyl snake, naked chicky babes under the umbrellas, born here.

I love the dot interpretations. The freedom to use ones imagination. Every country needs imagination.
