It doesn't really matter in which part of London we decide to spend our weekends, it looks like we always end up on Oxford Street! We were in Covent Garden all day yesterday and around 5pm we realized WE HAD to buy some shoes from ALDO so WE HAD to rush there as it was nearly closing time!! How annoying, after all that running, we didn't even find the bloody high-heeled purple shoes my sister was craving for! Oh well, better luck next time!!

A few words on the famous Covent Garden. A very fancy and touristy area in central London, with a nice market where you can find colourful and extravagant bags and purses, venetian glass jewelery and hand-made refined home bits and bobs. I love Covent Garden for the talented and funny street entertainers and amazingly-skilled mimes. You just keep on staring at them and can't bring yourself to leave the place. Their facial expressions are impressive, their acting brilliant, impersonating beggers, worriers, getting angry or flirting with pretty girls in the crowd, trying to threaten to get some money or pretending to get really emotional when looking at a flower. They are flawless actors, doing a fab job, an excellent performance!

You can find all the major clothes and accessories label shops here, along with fancy cafe places, posh restaurants and terraces, crowded pubs. It is a real delight to spend an afternoon getting lost in the bustling beautifully cobbled streets! There are life concerts and musicians playing all the time. Especially at the weekend there is always something happening to keep the Londoners and tourists entertained. A really must-see if in London!!
