Canyon swing!
Hillarious! Wait until you all get to see the DVD.... I am currently in the party town of New Zealand…..Queenstown and it rocks! It is however freezing down here :o(
I took it easy the first night because I booked myself onto the ‘canyon swing’ the following day and didn’t want to feel rough for it. I’d heard a lot of reports on the canyon swing and to be honest I wasn’t really worried about it….how bad can a swing be?? We were driven there in the morning and my perception changed when I saw how big the canyon actually was, especially when I saw some people ahead of us having a go!! What the canyon swing is, is a cable that stretches across the canyon (109m down) with another cable attached to the centre of it, which is then attached to yourself. There is a platform that on the edge that you can then jump off in a variety of different ways. I’ve never been so scared in all my life which most of you will have the privilege of seeing in the most funniest dvd ever!! I opted for the ‘Backwards’ jump where once I was ready moved to the edge backwards and then one of the guys held my harness. Once he let go I free-falled 60m before the cable/bungee kicked in and swung me in a 200m arc. Words really cant describe how funny I look and I hope you all get an idea from the still pics!
I have paid to do the ‘Nevis’ bungee which is 134m tall……we will have to wait and see if I have the bottle so watch this space!!!!

you best do the bungee you shandy poof!! Its way better than the skydive. I will never speak to you again if you dont - and will not allow you to come visit me either!!
