Well I am in Port Macquarie at the moment. It's sunny.. but still not as warm as I'd like it to be. I haven't ventured outside yet, so I don't have any news on what it's like.,.. but I did want to write about my journey up here.

24 hours exactly (minus 5 minutes I suppose) I arrived in PM. The busride wasn't as bad as most would think it was. I think I slept most of the time last night until about 10 when we were pulling into the sydney area.

After that. I don't think I slept at all.. which is the downside to a good sleep the night before.

On the bus I did meet 2 very interesting Brits, and a very nice local lady who was discussing her recipes with me.. they actually sounded fantastic.. and after 20 hours of eating chocolate muffins and m&m's my stomach was rumbling.

it kinda sucked leaving Melbourne because I had met some awesome people there. there were 3 girls that I completely got along with at the hostel, it was like we'd known each other for ages! And they completely rock. And Darryn and his family were so nice to me, it was hard to sleep on a bus after the nice cosy bed!!!

When I got to PM I was staying, not at a traditional backpackers (as I discovered this morning) but at a trailer park slash backpackers.. Unfortunately.. it's not backpacker season for this place.. so.. there are no people my age..

It was pretty amusing.. It was deserted when I arrived.. and then I decided a nice long shower would be nice.. so I wander into the bathrooms.. and there's a lady there! The first person I've seen besides the front desk staff... But there was something strange about this lady......

She was brushing her teeth

and normally I wouldn't find that strange..

But her teeth.. were in her hands... yeah.. it was wierd.. hahaha I nearly started laughing.. but refrained...

Anyway I better get going.. someone is waiting for the internet.. will keep you updated on my journey!

I was talking to Andy (the Kiwi) about how one of my friends is in Australia and all he said was "oh yea... f***ing australians" under his breath... I thought it was amusing. he thinks you should have gone to New Zealand :P nothing's new on my end, unfortunately, but work's been better :) anyway I'll talk to you later! ciao for now.
