Days 43 & 44 – Monday & Tuesday – Los Angeles, Califonia

*sob* it's our last day!!!

So yesterday we all met for our last breakfast as the six of us - the last supper hehehe. Jen & John who we'd spent the last 6 weeks with, have headed back up to San Fran and then make their way over to Chicago before flying back home to England after there year long honeymoon. It's been very weird ever since hanging out and them not being around and we miss them heaps (awwww!).

The plan for Monday was for Kate, Toni, Dean & I to go out to Six Flags Magic Mountain, but we realised it was $100 to get a taxi (ONE WAY), it was about 4 busses and 2 hours to go by public transport and none of the tour companies do transfers except for the weekends. Bummer.

So instead we went and watched Oceans 13 at Mann's Chinese Theatre (how cool is that?!!!) and indulged in some more pizza from the California Pizza Co and some serious shoe shopping (I picked up one pair, Kate got THREE!!!). We had an afternoon relax before heading out to a local Chinese for dinner (which was sooo good!).

Today we had a big sleep in, and the four of us met for lunch. Dean & I are just packing and tying up loose ends, and we head to the airport tonight for our LONNNG journey home (at least this time its only 2 flights not 3). Kate & Toni head down to San Diego tomorrow.

Oh wait...before I go one more hilarious episode to leave you with....this afternoon Dean went down to Starbucks to grab us some coffees, and the guys behind the counter were convinced he was some big motorcross star from Australia (because he was wearing his Fox t-shirt), he got really upset when Dean tried to say he was no one, and wasnt going to give his autograph, so the only way Dean could apease him and get away with our drinks (this was AFTER a crowd had gathered) was to end up doing his autograph on a scrap of paper. ONLY IN HOLLYWOOD.
