What constitutes visiting a state? In my opinion, to have visited a state you must have spent at least 2 nights in the same city in the state. I have driven through the Carolina's and Georgia, but seeing these states from the highway is not experiencing these states. I would like to see all 50 states by the time I am 50!
Surprising That's a lot of states! At this rate you will definitely be able to hit all 50 by the time you are 50. I have to say that I am rather surprised you've never been to Vermont, though. (Beautiful state -- go either in summer or autumn)
Colorado is an amazing place, too. If you ever go to Colorado Springs, go to the Garden of the Gods, not too far from there. The stone formations look like they belong on Mars; they are incredible.
