Ahhh the benefits of a hop-on-hop-off bus pass, these tourist buses are brilliant and the even better thing about the ones here in Paris are that they are 2day passes!! Plus they have 4 different lines and over 50 stops! Its madness I tell ya! But oh so good..

The first day of this pass I used it to visit Notre Dame, this place seriously reminded me of a certain uni in Freo.. haha wonder why... Except its just a catherdral and not a university but still a seriously cool place... Spent a couple of hours wandering around here and also going to the crypts under Notre Dame as well as getting in my first lot of French shopping!! Oh how I wish I could have another suitcase!! HAD my first baguette in Paris too.. Not overly impressed by this.. Considering its Paris, they should be so much better!!

My second stop on this first day was at La Boetie-Champs-Elysees, a major shopping area in Paris, very expensive though, you've got Louis Vutton across the road from Mercedes Benz and that sort of thing..

On the 2nd day of my pass I decided to journey along each of

They didnt have Perth hehe, from the top of the Eiffel tower, I am soo far from home!

the 4lines that this pass had to offer, therefore seeing all that Paris really had to offer. The yellow line took us through the Moulin Rouge district.. Now this is what I expected Paris to be like! Up until this point Paris is reminding me of what I expect Rome to be like.. Weird hey, looking forward to seeing Rome now..

Also today, the main attraction of Paris.. THe Eiffel tower, no trip to Paris is complete with it! And up the tower I went! So many people, an awesome view but just so many people.. To be honest I was expecting to get up the top of this tower and be totally depressed because of how its supposed to be so romantic and there would be all these couples (which I just hate seeing in general usually) and here I was all alone and single but to be honest this feeling never hit me, its an awesome view dont get me wrong, but definately not as romantic as I was expecting, maybe at night its different I dont know...

Made sure I bought my camera cord today, made sure I got the
computer I could hook it

Brilliant view, although not as fantastic as I was expecting because of all the hype surrounding it..
into.. left the camera charging in my room! God Im an idoit!! hehe..

Paris is an interesting city hey, its an inspiring city, its giving me hope that Im not sure I should have and no particular reason for having it, yet I'm feeling pretty good about certain things and I have no idea why...

Your comments on the 4 bus lines are a BIG help for someone who has never been to Paris, and like in my case, wondering what is the best way to get around town. Mark Osborne Fraser, Michigan
