This morning we all agreed to have a sleep in, so had a quiet morning until midday, when we headed down to the Excalibur buffet for lunch. After that we headed to New York New York to ride the Manhatten Express, the roller coaster that runs around the top of the NYNY building. wow, what a ride!!!! LOL Although it was a bit hard to see, as we didn't take our glasses and its so damn bright here that my eyes were streaming!! Still, a pretty damn good roller coaster ride.

After the roller coaster, we had some time to kill, so we went down to the games arcade floor of Excalibur and tried our luck at the games there. John got us off to a good start by winning Jen a bear in the 'bashing game' game, where you have to bash the heads as they pop up out of the holes. He then tried his luck at the claw game, where you drop the claw down to pick up a toy. Would you believe, he's the first person I've ever seen or heard of who actually won the damn toy!! lol. That set the challenge for us, so we went off in search of the horse riding game that Dean had seen the other day. On the way there though, we got slightly distracted...

I spied a magnet fishing game with the cutest blue dogs, so convinced John to attempt to win one for me, which he did - yay John!! lol We did eventually get to the horse riding game, where you have to throw balls into differently placed holes in order to move your horse along. Amazingly enough, I won the first game (yay me!! hehe) and won myself a large caterpillar. We then played again and this time John won, winning Jen and Sarah little pirate bears. I also managed to win myself a little penguin by shooting hoops and Dean won me a bright blue dragon by catapulting witches into couldrons. He also managed to win a purple one for Sarah and John won Jen a red one.

Along the way, Dean also managed to claw himself a large Las Vegas ball in bright purple and pink colours, Dean and John shot themselves enough targets to get enough tickets to redeem for a cute purple princess hat for Jen. Dean also won Sarah a Donkey donkey from Shrek.

A really fun hour or so!
J&J, S&D and Toni all headed off to the shops for some retail therapy after the excitement of the games arcade and I spent some quality time updating my travel blog.

The guys got back around 7 and we headed out for dinner at the Luxor, then S&D and Toni and I went back for a night run on the Manhatten express, the roller coaster we'd ridden earlier in the day. At night its so much better, especially as I could actually see, as the sun wasn't blinding me! We all then caught cabs downtown to Fremont Street again, to watch a couple more light shows. Again, they were pretty damn amazing and I've added a few more pics for your viewing pleasure! Hopefully they aren't too boring!

Tomorrow is an early start so that Toni and I can pick up our hire car and we can all head off to Death Valley and Bishop for a night, before spending a couple of nights at Yosemite.
Hopefully driving won't be too much of a challenge for us!
