After waiting three days for Car's clutch to be replaced, we finally picked her up from the dealership, eager to get our journey underway. Alas, on the way home, our car started stuttering AGAIN once we took it over 60 mph. We were heartbroken. We thought we'd have to cancel everything and fly home. In our state of shock, we decided not to make any rash decisions, go to bed, and review our options with a fresh outlook in the morning. Verdict? Cancel the southeastern portion of the trip, drive to Drew's parents house in Buffalo (7.5 hours away) to see if the car could make it that far, then continue on the rest of our trip. So, on Thursday afternoon, never exceeding 55 miles an hour, we said a prayer, took our chances and hit the open road...

About two hours into the drive, we finally relaxed a bit since nothing bad had happened and Car was driving just fine.

Since Car can only go 55 miles an hour, every vehicle behind us is going nuts and passing us. At night they look like big scary trucks coming after us...
