Edit Blog Post

Hi Everyone,

This is our first entry in the Diary and basically just an advice and test.

We are still learning how this Blog works but realy excited about travelling with Anne, Dennis, Bruce & Myself.

We have changed vehicles from Single Cab Chassis 2004 LT Petrol Rodeo to a Twin Cab / Dual Cab 2004 Deisel Pickup.

The Caravan is packed and parked in it's place on the fron lawn ready for the take off on Saturday morning where we will head for the Maitland Caravan & Camping show.

We still need some outdoor accessories.

We will be staying with Angela, Kevin & The Grandchildren on Saturday and Sunday night and heading North to Brisbane with stops at Port Macquarie, Sawtell, Coffs Harbour, Lennox Head, Tweed Heads, Carrumbin Waters and Redland Bay a southern Brisbane suburb on Morton Bay.

We expect to arrive on Friday 1st June '07 staying with our friends and mates on this tour Anne & Dennis - we will have some photos soon for you to become familiar with us all.

On Monday 4th June Anne & Dennis in their Caravan and us in our Caravan will head for Toowoomba via Ipswitch visiting an old friend and secretary of mine before heading West then North with a few cross country town visits in search of a bubbling brook somewhere to park for Free so we can Fish Paint, drink BBQ and generally have a good time.

After heading North to MT Isa, possibly Norminton (4 wheel drive only no caravans) then back south East then North to Cairns and maybe Cooktown and further, then back down to Twonsville to visit some more friends and back inland then down the coast heading home.

Expect to be awai 8 to 9 weeks but depends on the weather, how much we enjoy the trip etc.

Until the next time which will be short now you all know the itinery.

We do have a website that I will advise in the next update if you are interested in "where are they Now".

Go for it!
Woo hoo Di - look at you now! Super hi-tech! I can't wait to see some photos of your caravan and shots of the babbling brook, you painting it and your adventures in general. Happy travels :-) Melinda
