Westminster Abbey
This was huge. I'm always amazed by the architecture when I see these buildings. Day 2:
I couldn't sleep last night after waking from my early nap at 8pm. What a loser. I'm totally giving away the fact that I'm older than most of the hostelers. I was awakened by the other hostelers coming in at 11pm. The lights were out and it was dark. I got up, brushed my teeth and changed into my sleepwear.
This morning was tough. I was in and out of sleep and although I don't remember sleeping soundly, I did have strange dreams. Ie. I was at an awards show and either I or somebody else was in charge of getting everyone ready.
Around 5 or 6am, I was awakened by the noisy grind of the garbage truck and finally decided to shower. Is it only in a foreign country that I can actually wake up early?
Excursions for the day:
1. Westminster Abbey
2. Big Ben
3. Crepe for lunch
4. Rode the London Eye
5. Dali Exhibit (Picasso also) - (ie. http://www.dali-gallery.com/); from a commentary on one of his exhibits: "Time is not rigid. It is one with space - fluid. He examines the human perception of time. Times flies when occupied,
Westminster Abbey
Here is a picture of me within the confines of the Abbey. The guy who took this picture for me was not pleased by my camera since it produced such a dark image. I look tanned? but drags when bored. The limp watch no longer 'keeps time', but the speed of time depends on us"...interesting, huh?
6. Lounged in front of the Abbey
7. Old timers nap back at the hostel
8. Dinner at Italian restaurant down the street and drunk off 2 glasses of red house wine.

I'm glad to see the sun actually shining finally in London. Sorry for the wet soggy cold weather that greeted you initially. Miss you
