Hi there to one and all from the hedonistic capital of Asia. Yeap. Im back in Bangkok again at the beginnning of an epic trip accross Central Asia to Europe which Im surmising will take the best part of 8 to 9 months depending.

Ive spent the past 6 months back in NZ catching up with freinds and family, working in a local Cafe as chef come barista come dishwasher, and managed to find time to tidy up and paint my property and research this trip. I arrived here on May 6 and travelled straight down to Koh Phangan and spent a week in the same bungalow at Haat Yuan that Id spent with Diana last October, but this time I found it very quiet as it is low season. After a week of swimming, swinging in my hammock, eating wonderful Thai food at Bamboo Hut and sleeping I returned to the crazy pace of Bangkok to ready myself to heading into Laos on Monday. From there I will travel by bus into South China and walk the Leaping Tiger Gorge and travel up theTibetan highway all the way to the Yellow River at Lanshou then head west to Kashgar and into the Stan countries.

I will try my hardest to update photos as I write this Blog especially in Central Asia where the scenery is supposed to be pretty amazing. PLease email me thru this site any messages as I havent heard from some of u for some time and really like to keep in touch. So till next blog when hopefully I have a few adventures to relate, keep safe and happy. Love from Kay

you crazy young thing!
Dear Kay, Sorry not to have written sooner, this blog thing is new to me and I coundnt find a way reading or replying till just now. All well with me. Had a wonderful trip in your home country. Sorry not to have seen you again before we left. Billy did a free fall parachute course in Able Tazmin and that set us back nearly two weeks. It was so good to spend a bit of time with you and see your roots. Its a lovely place and when you do decide to slow down and chill I think your home town would be a lovely place to do just that. So I am back in London and just got a full time job as a practise nurse in a surgery near Hammersmith, bit nervous but its no weekends and no night shifts so I am very happy and will learn lots. I hope this finds you well and the less travelled road is bringing all you want from it. Does sound amazing. Bill is fine, we are having a few issues with each other but returning from a trip is always hard. Oh well big love to you and keep the blogs coming they are great to read. Jess xxx
