Just a quick note to say that we have made it all the way to Thursday Island in the Torres Strait. We came over on the ferry this morning from Seisia and will spend the weekend here before going back to our car on the mainland. Technology does not really allow me to upload any of our photos which is a shame, we will have to wait until we get back to larger civilisation. It is very beautiful up here in the Torres Strait, apparently you can hitch a ride on a cargo ship to some of the other islands so I am going to check that out and maybe we will stay a few more days in the strait! Looking forward to an afternoon at the pub overlooking the harbour and a lazy island weekend....

Hey brother and sister Just popped on for the first time, you know, long time reader first time caller type thing...anyhoo Cool blog guys, nice photos and all that, well done, looks like you're having a blast, we are totally jealous. Poor Billy has been in a fight and is limping around, but apart from that, all is same as here, even down to beers at the RUC on Friday!!! Wags......out
