Living in Surfers or actually in Main Beach

Ooh la la!

I got a room! Im living in Main Beach which is a couple km's away from Surfers but on the beach and only a short walk from my work.

I moved on Saturday from the Danish couple's home to my new flat and Im loving it. Before that, though, I did a couple things. I started biking a lot, riding an average 15km's a day. I hated the bus so it was easier to ride the bike. Also I went to the much hailed Australian Outback Spectacular.... I was bitterly dissappointed. I didn't think it was worth of nearly a $100!!! The next day I also said goodbye to the girls, Lotte & Lea, knowing well I wouldnt see them for a looooong time. Maybe in Europe for the next time.

So I moved into Main Beach, a really nice area. Right next to a lot of cafes and restaurants. I like. My flatmates are Kate, 28, and Eden, 29, and they are really nice. Flat is in a really nice building and it has a pool in the atrium. Its also only 300 meters from the beach.

Last week I was working almost every day, which was nice. I got to learn most of the stuff they do in the reception here and it is quite different to the stuff back at home. More complicated I would say.

My plans are to get settled into Main Beach and buy a bike to move around the area. Im loving it and the weather has been terrific so whats there to complain about.

I think from the Spit you get one of the best views of Gold Coast and Surfers paradise.
