That's when good Neighbours become good friends....

Well for those of you prehistoric people who don't have bebo/did not receive an amazing picture text, I fulfilled one of my life long ambitions on Monday night...I went to a Neighbours party and met the stars!!!! It was amazing! I have watched Neighbours since the age of 3 and everyone knows how much I love the doc! Oh yes, Karl aka 'The Fletch' was there on top form belting out 'I Predict a Riot' and looking mighty fine! He he! I could barely contain the excitement when I met him!

Also met Connor, Libby, Janelle, and wait for it ....MADGE!!! What a legend! She's not dead after all. This was all a bit too much for such a die hard fan and I launched myself into a full on hug with her, she looked slightly startled!!! She was so nice though, very exciting! Was such a great night! I of course tried my best to chat up the security guard to get back stage but have a feeling it had been tried before. He was having none of it!

So the next day, hungover, still buzzing and nicely stuffed with Maccy D's, my new Welsh friend FFion and I toddled off to a wee internet place to put our neighbours pics up. Ffion whispers "Lisa, you'll never guess who's just walked in.." So I turn round, and who is there...TOADIE! Oh yes the one and only Toadmeister! How random! Anyway, so we met him too, fabulous! I love Melbourne!

Ok so apart from all that excitement..... I arrived in Melbourne on Sat and stayed in the most vile, dirty hostel ever! Uggg, don't stay in All Nations! A girl in my room woke up covered in Bed bug bites! Thankfully I only seem to be appealing to mozzies and sandflies, thank god! Met Ffion there though and we met up with her French friend Greg. They are both lovely. Ffion is leaving tommorrow but Greg is staying here to work too so at least I know someone! Spent the next few days finding my way around Melbourne and St Kilda. Melbourne is a great city, lots of nice shops and cafes. Everyone said it would be freezing but it's been sunny and about 16 degrees each day. St Kilda is a seaside town about 15 mins from Melbourne with

My expression is one of bewilderment at his greatness
lots of bars and cake shops. Mmm we had 2 cakes each. I am now on a strict diet and going to take up some form of exercise. McDonalds, cakes and beer do nothing for the figure! Have until July before the bikini comes out again, thank god!

So had to looking for a place to stay, what a nightmare! Everywhere I went to see was like something from 'how clean is your house?'. I am definately not the tidiest person on the planet but seriously! Elise, after 3 years some of your cleanliness standards must have rubbed off on me. Anyway eventually found nice place in Richmond 10 mins from city centre and moved there today. Have to share a room for a while with 1 girl but she seems really nice. She went to Edinburgh Uni and it's certainly a small world! She is really good mates with some of my friends from school (Ben & Lawrence, & Chris H for schoolies!) So now I am hoping to get settled, meet some more people and GET A JOB!!! That is what I'm meant to be doing now but this is more fun! I have got quite used to the care-free holiday life, I have forgotten what work is....

Hope you are all green with envy, not everyday you get to mingle with the Ramsay St A-list!

Lots of Love, Lisa xx
