Hike
Got to Banff late afternoon and missed the bus up to the hostel so decided to walk 30mins up this hill with my life in my backpack. I smiled the entire way there - it was so good to be in the mountains! WOW!!! After only an hour from the Calgary hell hole I arrived to the most beautiful place! I am in absolute awe of the mountains! The do something to you, their power, their size, their beauty, the safety and their history. I got off the coach and hiked up a mountain with my 17kg backpack with a huge stupid smile on my face whilst basking in the sunlight! Hostel is amazing, people are super friendly and I even walked past two deer who were just wondering across the road! I am offically in Canada and I absolutely love it! This is what I came for - this is why I'm here!!!
Stayed in Banff Thursday night, Friday and left at 3pm Saturday afternoon (after only 4 hours of sleep due to partying send offs!!!) Met a wicked chick called Sarah who was everything I thought she wasn't - goes to show you cannot judge people on their appearance and this chick taught me a huge lesson on making judgements on women dependant on how they look! Afternoon Stroll
'Ermm afternoon?' the pain :-/ ) amd went up the Gondala to the top of the mountain on the sunniest, clearest and warmest day I am yet to have seen so far this year!
I love Canada, I love the blue skies, the endless snow caped mountains, the fresh clean air, the smiley people, the laid back lifestyle and the 'Life is Good' attitude!

Hi Sweets, These pics are bringing back memory's of Banff, ohhhhh how I miss it. Isn't Sulphur mountain gorgeous to climb.
