satellite dish- amazing
Still in Langmusi, now waiting for the bus which will take us to another tibetian town - Xiahe.
Today morning we woke up late- 10am and were surprised to see that it is snowing outside - the whole village was white. This could be nice if it wouldn't mean that the bus can't leave the village. After 5 sunny days here and being the only ones who stayed here so long- we rather leave... anyway the snow stopped by now and we are soon leaving.

Last night we organized here a seder ke hilhato!
we were 6 Israelis: both of us, shaked and maya, Idan -26 electronic engineer- and michal - 22 pastry shef (conditor) who works in China. she made some matzas at lesha's restaurant kitchen and with the advice of maya and noa made a very good haroset.
I spent 2 hours in finding a combination of a working printer and computer with acrobat reader in order to print 3 hagadot from habad's website.
At 19:30 the show started. Two amrican 'shiksas" joined us and got full explanations. We also had kruv (for karpas) boiled eggs in salty water and a "great wall" wine.

The way to Xiahe was was much better - good roads. The only problem was all the emergency breaks the driver did because of crossing yaks/ sheaps etc.
It is a kind of desert view with high mountains. All the way there were many "brown" villages - it looks almost like Maroco but with different people.
the climate is strange -in winter every thing is frozen and probably white. in spring , after almost all the snow is melted - the view is dry and brown - almost dipressing.
It is still quite cold - and the tibiteians like to add to there brown mud houses green houses, so they can enjoy the sun. they also have big yards for the cuttle.

In the summer it is warm and rainy! then everything become totaly green till its frozen again.
on our way we could see the farmers "horshim et ha sasdot bemertz" - trying to finish the work before the summer rains, don't they know it is shavuot soon?
The only modern thing here us the motorcycle - and electricty. the work in the fields is done with mules and horses.

Eliptic Dish
Bonjo, now you can sell your "Benziniya" and take a sattelite dish with you instead. This way you will have both a dish and a speedy cooker for the price of one.
