Welcome everyone!

I am still awaiting my allocation and date to travel to China. The original allocation date was May 2006, but there have been a few delays. I know that waiting builds character, but I now have more character than a Harry Potter novel (and just as much torture!) Hopefully, some magic is just around the corner...

It's a bit stressful at the moment, because allocations are due any day. I'm resigned to missing out this (April) round, but where there's life, there's hope (or in my case, where there's pasta, there's life).

What will we do for a baby present now!
You were too fast off the mark for John and I to get organised with helping you - typical - not that it would have sufficed as a present at all!!!! Looking forward to sharing more of the journey, especially the super exciting later stages.

Hi, Katrena! I'd still like to develop a website for Maya to read when she's older, but this will do very well for the trip to China. Thanks so much for all your support throughout the whole adoption process, sweetheart. This journey has been even more wonderful knowing that you're there with me (us!).
