From the pathway
Our balcony with master bedroom on the right Hi,
Trust we're all fine and dandy? We're both fine although I'm still recovering from the news that my 5 years old nephew has joined a local football club in Canada called Halifax Celtic!! Would you Adam and Eve it. Still, I'll cheer for him if he ever scores a goal...as longs as its an own goal.
We've finally managed to tidy our place enough to take some decent photos as people have been asking to see what our flat looks likw - well, our folks anyway! So here's some photos - it's over to you Lloyd as we go through the keyhole....
Jo-Ann's out tonight with her work colleagues so I have a rare night in on my own. And what better way to spend it than dropping a line to family and friends. Ok, I admit it - I'm bored waiting for these albums to download! I've had a heck of a week at work -my manager was on holiday and I've had several project chernobyls this week - sorted them out best I can but she's not going to be best chuffed! Still, what can you do?! No point worrying about it - I've got
all weekend to get my story straight...
Tomorrow, we're going to sort our flights out at last for coming home in October - we have a wedding to go to which will be great and we're really looking forward to catching up with everyone or as many people as we can manage! On Sunday we've got our friends Simon & Liann coming round for lunch which will be great - no idea what we're going to cook but they're bringing a pavlova for pudding so I'm right up for that! They're also bringing their kids which wiull be fun - just hoping they also bring along some toys and DVDs for me to play with.
Not much else to report really - still haven't bought a car despite saying every week that we'll definitely going to do it. Next weekend....honest! We're also going to book flights soon to go to Christchurch for the weekend to catch up with Elaine Ogg who'll be down cat sitting for her brother. Yes, that's right - she's coming all the way from Edinburgh to cat sit......they'd better be paying her very well indeed! Hopefully hit the slopes for a few hours that

Looking t'other way from the balcony weekend as well as Christchurch has better access to skiing areas than Wellington.
The weather's still been bizarre here but pretty decent all round - the day after a bad day always seems to be a cracker. Thursday was minging - cold southerly winds gusting hard and rain but today was still and not a cloud in the sky!! Beautiful....
That's my pizza about to burn!! Later.....
Angus.
P.S. There you go - managed a travelblog without mentioning rugby once....DOH!
P.P.S. Nobody e-mailed Jo-Ann so clearly everyone is either enjoying my ramblings, fell asleep half way through my last one or just isn't reading them anymore.......!!

Where is our room?
Love the flat, but important we know which room is ours for when we come in February 2006. Only joking. The flat looks very nice - fairly recently built? The courtyard also looks like it gets some shade which will be a welcome break for us oldies when it is really hot. Can't wait. Love, your mother-in-law. XXXX
