Trolley's, Triva & $2 Taco's

Well...what a day!!!


We spent our time today travelling around on these really tacky looking 'trolleys' (aka tram/bus thingy on wheels). We learnt lots of really useless information about the history and creation of Downtown San Diego and about some of the Mexican influences. Whist on one of our stops at Old Town invested in some really cheap lunch. Yeap we had $2 tacos (oh, don't forget to add the tax!) That is one thing that is really getting on our nellies. You go to pay for something but have to add 7.5%!t(MISSING)ax to everything and then remember that when they say 3cents they actually mean it and its not rounded up to 5. Arrrhhh...vexed!! Anyway...

Another stop on our trolley tour went to this really cool cactus park thingy in Balboa Park (more boring useless information to us about some expo when the Panama Canal had its grand opening...?) Took lots of cool pictures.


Many other pointless things happed today aswell. For example:

Sarah finding a Fire truck and getting really excited!
Claire seeing a funny car and realising that it had a police man in it (photo taken and in blog somewhere
Sarah had a guy in a clothes shop ask her to try on a shirt because she was the same size as his wife?? (request denied!)
Claire trying to be a tree hugger in the cactus park

Today was Taco Thursday (mexican style of cheap Tuesday). Very tasty! Yummy...

We found a fire truck!!! Unfortunately (for Claire!) all firemen were absent...ooohhhh :(
