We arrived in Mui Ne on Tuesday afternoon after a 5 hour bus ride from Saigon. The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing and I took a short stroll up and down the beach. In the evening, we went for a walk and had dinner before returning to the room to watch a DVD. On Wednesday we hired a motorbike with driver for the day. They took us to the main beach where there were numerous kite surfers (Mui Ne has one of the world's best beaches for this sport due to the high winds). At 3pm, our drivers took us to the fishing village where dozens of fishing boats were preparing to go out that night. A few kilometres up the coast road and we were at the 'Red Canyon' - a red sand formation that we climbed for some good views. A couple of kilometres further on and we reached the sand dunes where lots of kids were trying to get us to slide down the dunes on their plastic mats. We declined and still had loads of fun making tracks in the untouched sand. After an hour or so of fooling around in the dunes, we took the bikes back to our hotel. After another night of DVDs, we woke at 7am on Thursday to catch a bus to Da Lat.
