We arrived in Da Lat at noon on Thursday. The rest of the day was spent walking around the town, having lunch and a beer by the lake and later having dinner overlooking the town. The weather in Da Lat was a lot cooler than what we have become used to and there are occasional downpours due to it being in the mountains. After a relatively early night, we woke at 8am to go on a 'countryside tour'. We had a motorbike each and a guide who led us through the mountains and into the country. We visited a flower farm, coffee plantation, a 'crazy house', a silk making factory, a temple with a happy buddha and we saw how rice wine is made. Then we had lunch at the home of a local family before riding back into town and going on the cable car. We arrived back at the hotel at 4pm and rested before walking around town to find somewhere nice for dinner. The next morning, we woke at 7am to catch a bus to Nha Trang.
