Another amazing Piccie
After an hours delay we finally boarded the Island Hopper from Antigua to St Kitts. It was a small 40 seater with propellers where you could sit anywhere. Adam, Drylie and Ravi who went to the very back row managed to wangle 2 cans of Red Stripe Beer each from The Air Stewardess on a supposed dry flight!! They were happy and the others tried to sleep on the short 20 minute journey to St Kitts.

Once we arrived in St Kitts we soon realised that cases were missing!! Due to so many people heading over for the cricket everyone seems to have one extra bag so the long and short of it was that Adam and Gordon were the unlucky guys as their cases had been left in Antigua. They both had to stand in a very long queue to register that their cases were missing. This seemed to take ages but I guess it seemed longer as everyone was very tired after our long journey.

GP our missing eighth member who had travelled out 24 hours earlier met us at St Kitts Airport. He had been a full 12 hours ahead of us on The Island

A magic action shot esp taken by our Paparazzi photographer
and had sampled the Hotel Food, drink and Pool so he reported back to us all he had found out.

After what seemed like ages we set off on our short 15 minute journey in our Minibus being driven by a cool dude called David. He gave us a few pointers about various things and before we new it we were at our Hotel. We had a long check in which seemed over complicated and after some debate about who was getting what room we eventually made it to our Room. We had two types of rooms booked,2 poolside rooms and two Garden rooms. All rooms are not far from each other so we can easy get about. I myself are in a Poolside Room which looks like a wee cottage. The rooms are excellent with separate bedrooms and the Poolside ones have a wee tv lounge too which is magic as well as a good standard of air conditioning.

Due to or late arrival the hotel had kept the buffet open for us which was appreciated and well received by all the boys. After some food we all sat and listed to the hotels’ steel band playing various well known songs while we had a few drinks from the vast drinks menu that was on offer. As we were so so tired we all headed to bed at about 11.30pm local time......

To be continued.....
