Day 2 of the Panagbenga activities is the highlight of the Festival. The Float Parade was already starting when we finally found the perfect location for us. Giant floats designed with colorful flowers came by. I could not help but be amazed with these artistic masterpieces. Each float has a theme to boast, which is usually the commercial product/company that they represent, with some celebrities as their flag-bearers. Even the senatorial candidates from a political party also has its own float. Yes, they took advantage of the festival for their campaigning. Tsk tsk, Philippine politics.

The parade ended at Burnham Park where the spectators had a time to take photos. We weren’t able to wait for the announcement of winners since we were all tired and hungry.

A trip to Baguio will never be complete if you will go home empty-handed with famous Baguio products. We went to the market and shopped for fresh flowers, strawberries, vegetables and other pasalubong items.

We were scheduled to go home early morning, the next day so we had the luxury of time to do what we were dreaming to do in Baguio for long - night clubbing. After our dinner at SM, we went straight to Nevada Square then had some disco dancing at Alberto’s.

Now, this is my idea of a perfect getaway.

What’s next on my travel wish list?
