Horray for Byron Bay!

Wow! The sun is shining AND the rain is pouring! How cool is that?! Infact, everything about Byron Bay seems to be pretty cool! Its really nice, soooo many cool shops! I've bought too much. Oh well! Byron Bay is a chilled kinda Glastonbury-type-place, with lots of dreadlocks and tofu sandwiches on the menu! It's nice to not be around the same old chain stores you see in every other city! Infact, I think i've seen a subway, woolworths (the supermarket over here) and thats about it! Its very cool!

Took a wander down to the beach, the waves are huge like surfers- but it was much less busy and no annoying lifeguards shouting things in megaphones! I think i could spend more time there...was even tempted to go IN the ocean! My love of water could be coming back!

Anyway, I love it here! Im only here one night though before heading back up to Queensland.

Thats all i have to say! Here's to a great day in byron bay!

cold and wet in England, no staff at work and Hilary has had her operation and is now home and off for 3 months. I am off to Tenerife in 2 weeks cannot wait for sun and sea and rest.
