It is our last night in Melbourne its been pretty cool, mainly working and living in Melbourne. Lee has been working (not very hard in my opinion but that is engineering!) in the city centre, if you hear of any major bridge collapses in Melbourne it wasn't him! I've been working in Admin earning some pennies doing the 9-5 thing.
Most of the highlights have been sporting ones- not surprisingly really as Melbourne hosts so many sports events it is incredible! We went to the Men's Australian Open Final on Sunday.. it was pretty good Federer absolutely breezed it but it was a great atmosphere! We were lucky enough to watch the first two days of the Ashes test, there were moments where it was not looking too bad for England but they didn't last long.............
Christmas was a strange experience unfortunately it was 16 degrees and raining so there was no barbie on the beach as I had been promised! We did most of our sightseeing with my parents who came over in November, they also brought some great weather along with them, it has been either unbareably hot or too cold and rainy pretty much ever since
they left!
