Kate and I on the 15Hr Ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy
Hey Guys time for a bit of a catch up. This is what I wrote on June 14th for a journal entry.

I’m writing this Blog form a lovely little flat in the
middle of Vancouver. Lace and I are staying with a
couple of her mates from home Tommo and Ali.
Vancouver Island was great, all the people we meet
where so laid back and friendly. We had a bit of a
mishap on our second day in Tofino though. We had
hired some bikes and successfully biked to some of the
beaches further out of Tofino (it was awesome to be
back at the sea) Then Kate the idiot decided she would
roll her ankle!!!!! She actually hurt herself really
bad and we thought it might have been broken. But
Lacey is as hard nut and soldiered on. We still went to
Uculete as planed but didn’t really see much of that
as Lace needed to rest her foot and I of course needed
to be there to help and support her in resting her
foot! What we did see of Uculete was lovely though.

Next stop was Victoria. We were really lucky with
getting a ride

there. We where picked up just out of
Uculete by this American Sales rep, he was really nice
and eventually drove us all the way to Victoria. He
was originally going to go to Nanaimo to catch a
ferry from there but he missed it so drove us to
Victoria and caught a ferry from there. Cool Eh!

Victoria was lovely. The city just had a really nice
feel to it. While we where there we thought we’d touch
up on a bit of history and went to the BC Museum
there. It was actually really interesting. Kate and I
both want to go and climb Mt Everest now though after
watching an IMAX feature on the Himalayas. We hung out
in Victoria for a couple of days then caught the Ferry
to Vancouver.

The big news from today is that we went to see the
third Star Wars film!!!!!!Finally
Man it was great, I was well impressed by it I almost
cried in some places. I have decided for Christmas I
would like a Light Saber please. Any one that can give
me one will have my undying love for the rest of my
life……..

are off to Alaska on Thursday (yep we are finally
going to get there). We got some pretty cheap flights
to Anchorage so will be in Alaska for a week. Not sure
what we are going to do up there yet? We’ll just see
what takes our fancy.

Much love
Jo
