Today was yet another beautiful day here in Lake Havasu. We were first treated to a visit with Frank and Carol at about 11 am! They were en route to Laughlin for a two night stay hoping to win big there! Frank was looking forward to the "free beer" flowing at the casino. Good luck, guys! Hope you do well. Frank and Carol were really impressed by Sue's condo. Frank saw this an excellent party house complete w/ the "refreshment" refrigerator. He said, "This place is RIPE for TRASHING! Let's have a party!!!" Too bad they had to leave.

Mike and Art had generator day........At the first attempt to start up one generator for the RV, they decided it was "faulty" After the second one would not start, it was then considered a big possibility that something was amiss???? They located a Honda dealer to check it out. It is too embarrassing to reveal the REAL problem............but suffice it to say, it was a costly error. Let your imagination wander. Tomorrow the generators will be bolted to the bed of the truck......so the boys have another big day.

Sue and I returned yet again to Wal-Mart to return some items. We think that there are a LOT of old nasty people around here. So rude. It appears that a lot of women are stooped over walking around here as well as some cadaverous looking gals. Beyond menopause, but acting like they are still in the throes of the hormonal rage.

We also think that Lake Havasu is being newly invaded by snowbirds. It really is pretty "old world" but the conglomerates are slowly moving in. Already there is the Hampton Inn. We went over to the island of Lake Havasu. AT the moment a pretty deserted area but soon to be filled in w/ condos and other "progress". The locals must be sad to realize that they are losing a vacation land that once belonged to the people of the surrounding area. We took pictures of what the place looks like now. It will be interesting to see what it will look like when all the "progress" moves in.

Across the lake/Colorado River is the state of California. Californians are streaming over here, buying up land that they can afford vs. the land that they CANNOT afford in their own state. It probably would be a good

investment to buy something here and sell it at a profit in a few years' time.

Enjoy the photos....

Wow, I think that I liked Nevada a little better than Lake Havasu. Too desert for me, but always nice to see the differnet landscapes. Love the look of the golf courses out in the desert, I can only imagine how much it costs to play, since it would be a lot of $$ to maintain. Say hi to Art and Sue and have a few cold ones for me too!!
